Among those who voted for the strike:

Thousands of NHS workers in Scotland have voted to strike – covering NHS staff from four of Scotland’s unions.

Nurses will begin voting on the strike next month. Voting opens on September 15 and lasts four weeks.

The Communications Workers Union said it was preparing a ballot for members of the Capita O2 and Tesco Mobile partnerships.

North London bus drivers are voting for a strike.

The railway dispute is ongoing, with Aslef members at Chiltern, Northern and TransPennine Express the latest to support further strike action.
