Man robbed at Redruth station – Police footage


Police released footage of two men they want to talk to in connection with a robbery at Redruth station.

British Transport Police officers are investigating a theft at the station on Tuesday 23 February.

The victim of the theft was approached by two men, one of them starting an argument with him.

He got out but one of the men followed him and attacked him before the other joined him.

The man managed to escape, but after running away, he realized that his cell phone was missing.

A statement issued by the UK Transport Police said: ‘Officers investigating a theft at Redruth station in Cornwall are releasing footage in this regard today.

“At 11:20 pm on Tuesday February 23, the victim was approached by two men before one of the men started arguing with the victim.

“The victim then walked and was followed by the man, who attacked him. The second man then approached and joined him.

“After escaping and out of the station, the victim discovered that his phone was missing.”
