LB Foster: acquisition of two UK-based rail technology companies

LB Foster Company (NASDAQ: FSTR), a global provider of product and service solutions for the rail and infrastructure markets, announced its acquisition of Skratch Enterprises Ltd. (“Skratch”), a digital solutions company based in Telford, UK, and Intelligent Video Ltd. (“IV”) of Leamington Spa, United Kingdom.

LB Foster designs, develops, manufactures and installs a range of mobile, wireless and digital customer information signage systems for use in railway stations and airports. Skratch, an industry leader in digital systems integration in the UK, brings advanced digital signage technology and capabilities to LB Foster that can be leveraged in both the rail space and the marketplaces. adjacent details.

Skratch has established a unique position in the market, offering a single-point provisioning solution model for customers and enabling large-scale deployments. Its service offerings include design, prototyping and proof of concept, hardware and software, logistics and warehousing, installation, maintenance, content management (CMS) and managed monitoring.
